About Us

Troop 320 is one of the oldest Boy Scout Troops in Maryland and has been operating for 90 years in Manchester, MD since 1932.  

• We are a “Boy-Led” Troop with many leadership opportunities for our Scouts.
• We have many “Fully Trained” Scoutmasters and have several leaders participating in “WoodBadge” training which is considered the pinnacle of adult BSA Leader training.
• If you look at our calendar you see we camp A LOT! If you were to camp every scheduled trip this year with Troop 320 you could have 20+ nights of tent camping in just your first year. To put that in perspective, the Camping Merit Badge only requires 20 nights in a tent you’ve pitched yourself.
• We try to plan a “Mini-High Adventure” trip most years in late summer/early fall & plan on taking at least one “Full-High Adventure” trip every other year.In the last few years we’ve taken High Adventure trips to the BSA Florida Sea Base & the BSA Northern Tier
